The television series was called ''Death Valley Days'' which ran from 1952-1970. Never watched the show much but with a series with the name Death in the title sure got my attention. We reject God's way or the Holy Ghost correction on God's word, we will spiritually wander in our minds concerning the scriptures truth meanings. Job 12:24 He taketh away the heart of the chief of the people of earth, and causeth them to wander in a wilderness where there is no way. John 14:16 Jesus saith unto him, [your name] I am the way,.... The way deals with how we discern God's character, nobody can discern God's word without the Holy Ghost and our educational level is useless in Spiritual things. 1 Corinthians 1:21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God. Two different wisdom are mention in the above verse and worldly wisdom brings only spiritual death to the living souls hidden in God's word. Death Valley USA is the lowest and driest area in North America. Nothing grows there but thorn[ no fruit, no figs trees, a cursed place] bushes, Cactus, it is a desert or wilderness. Isaiah 14:17That made the world as a wilderness. Ecclesiastes 3:11Also he hath set the world in their heart. The world here is not talking about a physical place but what you receive in our own stony hearts. Matthew 13:7And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung, and choked them. If the world in my heart and it is! What's growing there without God's Spiritual rain? Thorns and no fruit. Let us ask the Holy Spirit to show us what taking root in men heart today. Because by now we already know God's word has to be revealed or taught to us by the Holy Ghost. Psalm 27:11 Teach me thy way, O Lord, and lead me in a plain path, because of mines enemies.My most dangerous enemy is my carnal mind. Sure we have physical enemies and spiritual enemy [ See the our teaching on the”Matrix’’] and recently somebody tried to torch my vehicle at my former place of employment. But God the night before warned me in a dream. God will make known your iniquity or thoughts are enemies against His holy words. Ask God to have mercy on us and show us, that our own thoughts on Bible interpretation for what they are SIN! Proverbs 24:9The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is a an abomination to me.And what a scorner?Proverbs 13:1but a scorner heareth not rebuke.Did the Children of Israel listen to God's voice in the wilderness? Numbers 15:31 Because he hath despised the word of the lord. After all what does God know that we do not know? We could write a book about the things we do not know and that book would be the Bible.Job 21:22 Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing He judgeth those that are high.God judges our high thoughts against His words; my thoughts makes Him a man like unto ourselves. Psalm 50: These things hast thou done, [We made God's words or things our wisdom] and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, [When God reprove us it's a good thing] and set them in order before before thine eyes. Whats thethem in the above verse that God needs to set in order before my eyes? His word's as He sees them.Psalm 119: 133Order my steps in thy word: and let not my any iniquity have dominion over me. Second what about knowledge?Proverbs 8:9They are all plain to him that understandeth, and right to them that find knowledge.Plain! Plain! Plain! What is a plain? A path! Which took the children of Israel 40 years to do. I took a twenty five years journey into the wilderness and in one day saw that I was entangled in the wilderness of my mind. Exodus 14:3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, they are entangled in the LAND, the wilderness hath shut them in. 2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world throught the knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning. The land is God’s word do not pollute it with your fleshly mind; do not make it a wilderness where nothing grows there but thorns and snares but no fruit.Isaiah 5:6And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor digged; but there shall come up briers and thorns, I will also command the clouds that they no rain upon it. This is what the carnal mind will do to God's word: Psalm 107:34A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein. If I am not self-righteous then God will start to reveal His hidden word to me then and only then can I inherit the land or His word.
