Greeting. Proverbs 21:7The robbery of the wicked shall destroy them; because they refuse to do judgement. When a man or women refused to do judgement they are not allowing God to judge their thoughts about His holy word. Psalm 75:7 But God is the judge: he putteth down one, and setteth up another. What does God put down? Our thought until they conform to His character or thoughts; He is not coming down to our level of thinking no matter how sincere we confess to be. Matthew 9:4And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your heart? These above verse speaks of what goes on in the mind of man, nothing good mentally; of course the mental can always manifest into the physical. One of my physically dead mother's favorite movie was Barabbas, starring the twice dead actor Anthony Quinn. Which was usually shown around Easter time and even today. The movie spawned many questions in me as a child and I wanted to know who this Bible character was: these characters symbolize what is man's evil heart. But most of those questions went unanswered that Easter Sunday morning when me and my younger brother donned our new Sears and Roebuck suits, with fifteen cent in our pockets. John 18:40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber. To the carnal mind this verse is only talking about a physical robber; Let us ask the Holy Spirit to teach us what the Bible calls a Spiritual robber. Ezekiel 7:22My face will I turn from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it and defile it.God's word is hidden in a secret place from man's carnal mind and when weadd our thoughts as to the meaning of it we defile it. Psalm 25:14The secret of the Lord is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant. We simply do not fear God when we can take His words in our vile mouth and quote them without seeking what they mean to Him. Seeking the hidden wisdom about God's words would require mental work, thus we would rather spiritually steal as to their meaning. 2 Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. Self-righteous Job thought he knew the secret of God, but Eliphaz the Temanite discern Job was self righteous and rebuked Job: Job 15:8 Hast thou heard the secrets of GOD? Still Job thought he had heard the secrets of God and so do we! Job 20:16As I was in the days of youth, when the secrets of God was upon my tabernacle. Job 29:3When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness. Job was in darkness [self-righteous] walking in his own light; Job was still far better than anybody we have in these modern times who call themselves Christians. Luke 11:35Take heed therefore that the light which is in thee be not darkness. Job 32:1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes. When we read God's word and put our own thoughts on it we have just defiled it: it was perfect until we saw it our own way. What does God say about all of our own thoughts? Isaiah 55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are yours ways my ways, saith the Lord. Isaiah 55:9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than yours ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. What about Jesus thoughts? Philippians 2:6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to equal with God. No goes to an physical altar and goes away with God's thoughts we will have to suffer to hear God's thoughts. And what make this impossible to hear God's thought, because we refuse to believe a higher wisdom exist. Isaiah 40:25To whom then will ye liken me,or shall I be equal? saith the HolyOne. Most thieves prefer to work nights and many of these spiritual thieves will claim they are walking with the Lord. John 11:10But if a man walk in the nights, he stumbleth because there is no light in him. Our own spiritual light only appear good to ourselves and others who also walks in darkness: until God reveal something from His words to us we sit in darkness. Matthew 4:16 the people which sat in darkness saw a great light.
Proverbs 26:7 The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the month of fools. All the scriptures are parables with hidden spiritual meaning and to try to interpret them without waiting on the Holy Spirit, we become fools and thieves. We refuse to labor for the spiritual things [His words] of God and I am not talking about the Churches altar worker, we become slothful and unprofitable. Psalm 94:11 The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity. Our heart represents its own thinking and even if we do not voice it out loud; we think the scriptures have no hidden meaning other then our earthly wisdom and have made own vain thoughts heavenly.Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven. Isaiah 65:1I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walketh in a way that is not good. after their own thoughts. Ever stole anything? When think we can come to God in our own wisdom or righteousness we become a spiritual thief and robber. And if we are honest with ourselves it felt pretty good to ever have stole something physically. Well did it not? It felt sweet to your mind. We did not have to labor for what we stole, but we are gonna have labor for GOD'S spiritual meat. John 10:1 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and robber. Proverbs 9:17 Stolen waters[God's word] are sweet.Michael Rudolph Hodges12/20/2015 amended 7/27/2016/ 6/3/2020/ 4/3/2021/ 11/13/2021/amended 3/20/2022
