Greetings. 1 Timothy 2:4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. Notice the above verse makes no mention of altar calls or praising till you think God hears you service. Simply put we must come the God’s knowledge of the interpretation of His Law book the Bible. In the above verse it mentions: we have come unto, thus I had to leave something in the process: I left the wisdom of this world. Saint Paul left the wisdom of this world to receive the wisdom that is from above, yet we wrongly imagine we do not have to do the same. Philippians 3:8Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ. The all things in the above verse has nothing to with anything physical, but the things he thought. The first thing I recall when being taught how to read were the alphabets; but that was over sixty years ago, perhaps there's an easier way now. I observed watching my sons grow up that their math class supply list required a calculator: no thinking required I thought. As one famous lewd dead comedian said, ''that all that would be required to get into college would be a pencil.'' Of course, the modern-day Churches have lowered their standards [never had none any way] by stating that: all that would be required to enter into eternal life would be a four-point sinners’ prayer. Then I could be wrong it could be a six-point prayer or even eight. Wait I almost left something out: altar call workers complete with a box of Kleenex and a W2 form. I usually eat my breakfast while watching game shows, in one such show the contestants are told to come on down you're the next contestant. I once knew a person that stated when the doors of the Church were open, she ran on down: she was the next contestant to be deceive by the sleight of men. The only thing that we ever ran from was the judgement found in God’s word and He is not coming down to her or our spiritual level. Ephesians 4:14that we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive. A child or babe in the above verse represents a person with no spiritual understanding and a doctrine represents a teaching. A strange spiritual wind has blown through the Churches: you can save yourself by repeating after a man and if you praise long enough, God will do your bidding. When we are praising God in our own spiritual understanding, we are not true worshippers. John 4:23But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh suchto worship him. Millions do not realized the Bible is a book of judgment against the ungodliness of men thoughts: who hold God’s truth in unrighteousness. When we hold God’s truth in our own wisdom, we become self-righteous and this is very hidden from us. Romans 1:18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. God did not send His son to do our carnal bidding, but to judge the thoughts of men hearts, and there is nothing good in our hearts. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? I recall years ago doing something I had once thought unimaginable, I could not believe I would do such a thing: I did not know how deceitful my heart was. John 9:39And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. We do not want to be judged even in physical things by other people and we are given a Bible that judges our thoughts. We are all born spiritually blind to the thoughts of God and once this has been revealed to us, then we can began to receive the knowledge of the truth and be saved. This Spiritual knowledge does not come overnight, but by mentally sacrificing everything we thought we knew about the word of God. God thoughts or judgment comes against our thoughts to destroy them completely and we hate this: man, secretly hates God and does not even know it. John 7:7 The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. The works here represent the things I think and these works manifest into physical actions: altars call, foot washing, tongues, things to justify what a great Christian thou are. I recall recently a Pastor stated: ''his Church was having midnight prayer services''; God in his love for this man was trying to reveal to him by his own word he was in darkness. John 3:1 There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: John 3:2 the same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miraclesthat thou doest, except God be with him. Nicodemus came to Jesus by night which represent he was in spiritual darkness and so are we all. End of part 1
