Greetings. 2 Timothy 3:7ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. The elderly gentleman wore a safari hat that had emblems of different countries that he had been too; yet nobody seemed interested in him or his strange hat on his head. Physically he wanted people to acknowledge that he still existed, yet frail and old nobody seen to care what was coming out of his mouth. I join myself unto him and asked him about his hat and what did it mean. He explained to me he was once an Archaeologist and had been all over the world and even had slept in the Pyramids of Egypt. I asked him what conclusion having traveled all over the world and did he notice any difference in the many races of people he had met? No, he replied that people were basically the same everywhere he went, and no race of people were any better than another. Ecclesiastes 3:18 I said in mine heart concerning the estate of the sons of men, that God might manifest them, and that they might see that they themselves are beasts. Our spiritual understanding of the Bible is on the level of a beast, regardless of how many letters we have in front of our name. God’s Spiritual wisdom concerning His words are higher than our carnal mind can Spiritually understand. Proverbs 24:7 Wisdom is too high for a fool. In twenty years of playing Church, I never once heard of anybody asking for God’s wisdom, because they trusted in their own. James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. Upbraideth, now that is an interesting word, and it is only found one time in the Bible, but we have the word upbraid found four times. 1 Corinthians 2:13Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. I merely by faith ask God to reveal himself to me, by comparing scriptures with the same word in them and then wait patiently. In physical things million get themselves into all kind of physical debt because they cannot wait: we do the same in spiritual things.  Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. This is a great spiritual mystery because we all can hear, but to hear God’s word the way He speaks them is hidden. Problem is we all want to hear God’s words our way, and this is sin. God will never reveal His word unto us based on our own counsel outside of His word. Mark 16:14 Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen. Spiritually God upbraid or rebukes us for our unbelief, and our unbelief is: we do not believe there is a greater wisdom hid in His word. When we Spiritually sit down at meat, we are supposed be partaking of Spiritual food, but because of the hardness of our heart we receive nothing. Isaiah 29:8  It shall even be as when an hungry man dreameth, and behold, he eateth; but he awaketh, and his soul is empty. Soul food has nothing to do with black-eyed peas and corn bread, but the spiritual eating of God revealed words.  Psalm 49:15  But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall recieve me. God with will upbraideth not for asking for His wisdom, we have never wanted it. When we hear man's wisdom concerning the Bible it is destroying the soul spiritually and we love such foolish wisdom. Job 19:2   How long will ye vex my soul. and break me in pieces with words. I asked the little gentleman had he learned anything in all his travels? Physically all his travels over the world had been in vain, and he did not know what he was looking for. 2 Timothy 3:7 ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. I asked the little man had he ever read the Bible? Yes, he replied, and claimed to have seen the remains of Pharaoh’s Chariots at the bottom of the Red Sea.  Exodus 15:4 Pharaoh’s chariots and his host hath he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea. I did not reveal to the little man: that we are all spiritual little pharaohs that pursue after God’s Word to make them serve us. Exodus 14:5And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?  I did not try to reveal anything spiritually just then, because I could discern the hardness of this man's heart and sin had bow down his once six foot frame to five foot.  Psalm 44:25  For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaveth unto the earth. We have never wanted to serve God, only to make His word’s service our wicked hearts desires. And what will God do to our wicked desires that lust to rule over His word and these desires never rest?Isaiah 57:20But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.  We all lust after God's word wanting them to serve our thinking concerning them, thus we have fallen into many foolish and hurtful lust, which will spiritually drown us. 1 Timothy 6:9  But they that will be rich fall into temptation and a snare, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which drown men in destruction and perdition.
