DULL KNIFE

Greetings. Jude 1:16These are murmurers, complainers, walking after their own lusts; and their mouth speaketh great swelling words, having men’s persons in admiration because of advantage. One physically dead speaker with a little mustache spoke years ago; the longer he talked the louder his voice would become as he was spiritually swelling the crowd up. This man had men’s person in admiration because spoke the things that psychologically puffed them up; this gave him an advantage. Of course, at that time in history, he was not the only person using the  same psych on the mob. 2 Corinthians 2:11 lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.What is Satan or man devices that he used to get the advantage over us? Jeremiah 18:12And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart. The device are our evil thoughts and how we spiritually walk or study God’s word and we all secretly admired our own thoughts. Psalm 52:2 Thy tongue deviseth mischiefs; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully. I miss my old Barber who always used a very sharp razor on my throat, but he was very skillful with it. Man's tongues are liken unto a deceitful sharp razor which does no spiritual good: cutting of the sins of the flesh. Colossians 2:11 in whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ. Nothing in the Bible is physical and the above verse deals with the putting off, the body of sin by Spiritual circumcision by Cod’s word. Hebrews 4:12 For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword. What men hates most is hearing the Spiritual interpretation of God’s word, because it judges our evil thoughts. But, if our deceitful tongue has not God judgment in it, we when we speak it will not offend. Acts 5:33When they heard that, they were cut to the heart, and took counsel to slay them. When I speak to people on spiritual things, I can discern they are being offended. The counsel against God’s word will be in their own mind or spirit. Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly. Our own counsel can only bring spiritual death followed by physical death. Psalm 5:10 Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee. We transgress when we make God’s words our own wisdom and rebel against His Light for our own light which is darkness. Matthew 6:23But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

Years ago, a man who many called the godfather of soul, voiced a song called, Talking Loud and saying nothing. Like a dull knife that just ain’t cutting, just talking loud and sayin nothin, went the song lyrics. Perhaps the song writer had seen various Bible verses which dealt with men speech. Spiritually the writer had seen nothing of the Spiritual interpretation of any verse or word; but, like millions of other people we love to quote them. 1 Corinthians 4:19  But I will come to you shortly, if the Lord will, and will know, not the speech of them which are puffed up, but the power. Here Saint Paul is stating the speaker had no anointing in what they were saying, or there was no Spiritual wisdom coming from them. You can even say they were talking loud and saying nothing of any spiritual substance: substance is God’s words.
God’s word by His Spirit will Spiritually cut away our own fleshly thinking about His character and it will be done with a Spiritual sharp knife. God would use the Prophet Isaiah tongue to come against his enemies. Isaiah 49:2And he hath made my mouth like a sharp sword.Isaiah 41:15 Behold, I will make thee a new sharp threshing instrument having teeth. God is angry with us every time we quote scriptures to try to impress others and have no idea as the scriptures or words Spiritual meaning. We all have been judged unrighteous because we have judge God’s word by our own wisdom. The next verse I used to wonder about, thinking God must be angry at everybody else but me, after all what had I did wrong? Sure, I liked to quote scriptures as I met with my friends as I expounded on my own spiritual ignorance. But I did it in ignorance not understanding I was putting my spin or wisdom on His covenant. Psalm 50:16But unto the wicked God saith, What [OUR NAME] hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest takemy covenant in thy mouth? We all take the Lord’s name by our own vain thoughts at first, nobody can escapes this spiritual snare. Proverbs 6:2thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth. When God reveals to us, we have only seen His word by our own fleshly wisdom and can confess this error, than we can be saved. 1 John 4:2 Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God.When we insist that our way of seeing the Bible is the right way, we can never be saved: we are in the spirit of antichrist. 1 John 4:3 and every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof ye have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world. The modern Church world believe what in already in their heart; refuses to believe there is greater Spiritual witness hidden in God’s word. The modern Churches are the biggest deceivers yet and should wonder why God is shutting them down. Do not blame a picture of a ball with horns, for closing their Churches down; but men wisdom that mocks or imitate God words. Jesus was not a political activist and was called to show us the thoughts of the Father. John 1:14And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.
