1 Thessalonians 5:2For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. The above verse is not talking physical as in some secret rapture foolishness. We are the people that sat in spiritual darkness, the Lord comes as a thief and steals us out of this great darkness. Matthew 4:16  The people which sat in darkness saw great; and them which sat in the region and shadow of death light is sprung up. Shadows do not abide, yet we can go into total darkness or light. John 1:4  In him was; and the life was the light of men. God can only become the light of men, when it is revealed that we are all born in total darkness. We God starts to reveal himself: we are receiving thoughts from above and we are caught up with these thoughts while still on this physical earth. Rapture, a feeling of intense pleasure or joy.  Let us and the Spirit examine the word joy, found about 200 times in the Bible. When we are in our own judgment or wisdom about the scriptures; we are wicked people. Job 20:5 that the triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment.  My joy in the Lord is a private thing because only about two real Christian I know could share what the Lord is revealing to us. Who is really rejoicing is our soul or the inner man, because he is becoming a quickening Spirit. We have the Church crowd running around claiming to have the joy of the Lord because of something physical. When God starts to reveal His thoughts to us, we Spiritually witness resurrection of His word: Jesus is no longer in the tomb of our minds. John 6:63  It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.  Matthew 25:8 And they departed quickly from the sepulchre [ the sepulchre represents our mind]with fear and great joy; and did run to bring His disciples word. We can choose to abide in darkness and choose to believe in an physical  rapture of a physical Church. Luke 17:30  Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.  We are all tempted to put our own thoughts on God words, because we do not fear Him. When the Lord comes than you have light it is a new day, we can begin to rise up. None of the nonsense about the Lord taking you physically to heaven as you were driving your airplane and it goes crashing into x-wife bedroom.  Excerpt from the book: Light that is darkness.
