KING SAUL/ PART 1

Psalm 104:29The hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.  Greetings. .I recalled an episode of an old television show called the Twilight Zone. In one episode somebody shot this man who was hundreds of years old, but only looked about thirty years old. Now that part was fiction, but as this guy body laid on the ground it turned to dust. That writer of that old television show saw something in the Bible that millions of so-called Christians refuses to see. Psalm 119:25 [ ד Daleth] My soul cleaveth unto the dust: quicken thou me according to thy word. God’s word is the Spirit that makes our mortal soul a quickening Spirit. 1 Corinthians 15:45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit. Jesus is the Spiritual last Adam. We have never thought of God’s words as being living creatures and indeed they were just dead words in a book that we never take time even try to read. 2 Corinthians 3:6 who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. I have always thought it interesting that a King would use a letter to kill and hide his sins from man and not from God. 2 Samuel 11:15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die. We trust God is going to reveal more about the verse as we go on. As God has opened more of His word to me, I desire to go back to those Bible stories I read years ago and have the Spiritual wisdom hidden in these stories revealed to me. Luke 8:17For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad. My prayer that God would manifest more of His word to me and make known the things that are hid, His words. Prayer is just our desire to know God and has nothing to do with meeting around a flag pole, holding hand while we pray that God bless: our homes, jobs, bank account and they have some hand sanitizes left over at the local store. I often wonder what would have been like to have been King David: a real man’s man, giant killer, great dancer, musician, the man women sang songs about. 1 Samuel 18:7And the women answered one another as they played, and said, Saul hath slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands. All of us have a very lot in common with king Saul.1 Samuel 18:8 And Saul was very wroth, and the saying displeased him; and he said, They have ascribed unto David ten thousands, and to me they have ascribed but thousands: and what can he have more but the kingdom? Our carnal mind or the old man of sin in us, is very envious of anything that threaten its kingdom or temple of its mind. King Saul was physically older than David and can represent our old carnal nature and it is very displeased when its kingdom is being threaten. Mark 3:23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?24And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. If God’s Spirit starts to ascribe His wisdom to us, Saul or our own wisdom will be cast out. Satan symbolizes our devilish thoughts when reading the Bible and our own thoughts cannot: cast out Satan. One thing is for sure the flesh or Saul kingdom is not going without a fight. 2 Samuel 3:1 Now there was long war between the house of Saul and the house of David: but David waxed stronger and stronger, and the house of Saul waxed weaker and weaker. A Long war is fought in the mind over our souls and we do not stand a chance when we go to battle in our own person or wisdom. If you imagine you are going to heaven just because you do not do this or that, you are deceived. 1 Samuel 18:29 And Saul was yet the more afraid of David; and Saul became David’s enemy continually. Our carnal mind will be our enemy continually until it is exposed and spiritually consume by the fire of God’s word. It is a natural born enemy of God’s Spirit and millions never even realize its enmity against God. Romans 8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. For twenty years I thought my enemies were only those I could physically see; had I Spiritually saw a wanted poster for my Spiritual arrest it would have read the following: wanted for, murder, deceit, false witness, lies, self-righteousness, and anything not of faith. Millions of Christian falsely believe they are to be the door mat for other physically wicked people. Giving that relative that hates you money will not change the fact that they still hate you. They will not see you as some great Christian only a stupid person and God is not moved by our physical acts of charity. Matthew 5:44But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you. This verse has nothing to do with that physical enemy on the job or the person you wake up and see every morning. Psalm 27:12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. The will of mine enemies: will be the false witnesses or thoughts that I agree with, that have risen up against God’s word. I am told to love these spiritual enemies that war against my soul and how is this Spiritually possible? Sometime there are people in our lives that trouble us, and we pray God puts a contract out on them. While that so-call another Christian is praying that God smite you also. Nothing in the Bible is physical and while these characters in the Bible were once physical beings, knowing this does nothing in destroying our hidden spiritual enemy. We love our spiritual enemies by correcting them with God’s truth. This next verse ties together beautifully as it shows: Matthew 5:44, is not talking about physical enemies. Romans 12:20 Therefore if thine enemy hunger, feed him; if he thirst, give him drink: for in so doing thou shalt heap coals of fire on his head. In our physical world there are many ways to destroy a physical enemy: guns, dynamite, poison, but asking them to hold still as you apply charcoal and lighter fluid to their head is not one of them. When we can speak God’s words as He speaks them the hearer will be troubled; those enemies or evil thought that dwell in the mind feel the Spiritual heat. Job 41:21 His breath kindleth coals, and a flame goeth out of his mouth. As I talk to people, I sense the uneasiness in them as I reveal what the scriptures are really saying: they do not want to hear it. The old man of sin that is hidden inside all of us, does not want the Spirit man to hear and be taken out bondage.  Psalm 77:3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Millions have no idea this all goes on in the mind: the battle is for your soul and the weapons are words. God words are like fire to destroy the green grass or men fleshly thinking.  1 Peter 1:24For all flesh is as grass.  I know we do not like to think of ourselves as little more than grass or something forms out of the dust. 2 Corinthians 10:4 (for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)  The high thoughts or strong holds in our minds exalts themselves even unto heaven. We do not like to think of Jesus as a God of vengeance against our thoughts, but He is: very much so. 2 Thessalonians 1:8 in flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.  Proverbs 25:22for thou shalt heap coals of fire upon his head, and the Lord shall reward thee. We will be rewarded with the salvation of our soul for allowing God to destroy the old man of sin and his works. Psalm 109:20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the Lord, and of them that speak evil against my soul. Have you ever met anybody going around speaking evil of your soul, is this even possible? But we can do this very easily simply by taking the Lord’s name in vain and any Preacher who cannot confirm God’s word: does the same. Ezekiel 13:6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Exodus 20:7Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. The Lord’s name is His word and not what I think they mean, when I cannot confirm their meaning through the Holy Spirit, I should shut up. Psalm 119:113 [ ס  Samech ] I hate vain thoughts.
