STARTING OVER
Jeremiah 12:14Thus saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. Greetings. We are the evil neighbor in the above verse and the inheritance is God's words and spiritually our thoughts have been removed from His words or land. If the spiritual house we have built and not God, it will be plucked up because it was not built by His wisdom. Sometime a thing or system get so messed up it is beyond repair. What is the average price range for a computer upgrade project? Depends on the number of computers and many other factors, one thing for sure it is going to cost big. Perhaps our old way of looking at the Bible is not compatible with the new things God desires to show us. Isaiah 48:6 Thou hast heard, see all this; and will not ye declare it? I have shewed thee new things from this time, even hidden things, and thou didst not know them. And the only way God is going to show things thou didst not know, is when we acknowledge we never those new things when first to the Bible. 1 Corinthians 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. All every person sees at first when reading the Bible is a natural wisdom or interpretation. Becoming a son of God is going to cost us our life in this world or giving up our thinking: which is our life in the world. Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? As you progress from: Genesis to Revelation, the verses get Spiritually deeper. The only thing you can exchange for your soul, is your earthly wisdom. We have talked about the soul in previous letters and will speak on it again as God shows me more and I know God’s grace is sufficient in all Spiritual manners. Let us first try and let God’s Spirit identify more about the evil neighbor in: Jeremiah 12:14 . But more about that later as God makes himself known. I didn’t have to wait long for the answer, a mere twenty- four hours later. Now is the appropriate time to ask God the following questions found in: Luke 10: 25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I doto inherit eternal life.Luke 10: 29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, and who is my neighbour? The lawyer in the above verse represents us. we may argue in our mind and proclaim in our thoughts that we are not a lawyers. But we are: we something argue facts in our mind all the time to come to a conclusion. You may argue in your carnal mind and conclude there is no hidden gospel. 2 Corinthians 4:3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. Still, that old carnal minded counselor you hired for an attorney will always justify you: because he is your carnal mind or you. Luke 1:29But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, and who is my neighbour? I usually take about a month to write these letters as I may have to wait on a revelation from verses I spiritually do not understand. Here in the book of Luke chapter ten: we have a lawyer trying to justify himself and tempting God with evil. Luke 10:30And Jesus answering said,A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. This certain man left Jerusalem to go to Jericho. This next verse calls Jerusalem: a city of truth. Zechariah 8:3Thus, saith the Lord; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth. Spiritually we should all be headed for that city of truth or Jerusalem. But along the way we encounter spiritual thieves who would strip us of any Spiritual wisdom God would impart to you. Proverbs 1:11If they say, come with us, let us lay wait for blood, let us lurk privily for the innocent without cause. Three men passed by the wounded traveler but only one had compassion on him. Luke 10:36Which now of these three, thinkest thou, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves? Notice God is interested in what we think, but he already knows our heart, we do not. Luke 10:37 And he [Lawyer] said, He that shewed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him,Go, and do thou likewise. Now how can I be a neighbor to a person who has been wounded by thieves? Remember I’m trying to inherit eternal life and I’m told to do as the Samaritan did while the other two men didn’t. Luke 10:31And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him. The Samaritan had compassion on a wounded traveler headed for a city of truth. Thieves wounded this man and stripped him of his raiment. We have a lot of spiritual thieves that carry Bibles under their arms: who would spiritually wound anybody seeking the truth. I must have compassion on my neighbor, not as the world has compassion: doing something physical to be seen by men. Matthew 6:5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, they have their reward. If we think for one moment we can get to: Jerusalem a city of truth, without the carnal mind lurking privily to spiritually rob you and leave you spiritually naked: you have error greatly in your thinking. Matthew 22:29Jesus answered and said unto them,Ye do err, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God. Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. This verse isn’t talking about the guy next door. In the next verse God is referring to carnal minded people as his spiritual evil neighbors. We have laws that govern our physical neighbor and physical fences make good neighbors. The hundred and fifty-four verses in the Bible were the word neighbor is found. Bible has nothing to do with anything physical and words symbolize the character of God. If I go out and purchase a new car: will I go out and purchase a new car for my neighbor and love him as myself? No and either would you. Most people when they invite their physical neighbors over, it’s usually to show off some new porch deck or something. And if you’re doing the buying: people will keep coming back for more. When we try and share something Spiritual with somebody you’re showing compassion. But if God hasn’t revealed nothing Spiritual to you, you have nothing to share but spiritual death. You’re not a good spiritual neighbor! Jeremiah 12:14Thus, saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. Your evil neighbor also represents your carnal mind always trying to rule over God’s word. God’s inheritance is His word that we must obtain to inherit eternal life: only if we don’t defile it. Jeremiah 16:18And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcases of their detestable and abominable things. Jeremiah 9:8 Their tongue is as an arrow shot out; it speaketh deceit: one speaketh [You claim how much you love Jesus] peaceably to his neighbour with his mouth, but in heart he layeth his wait. Jeremiah 23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, saith the Lord, that steal my words everyone from his neighbour. Physically can you steal words? No, but you can claim: thus, saithe the Lord, and put your thoughts on his word. The good neighbour is the one that show compassion on you: God. In the next verse King David speaks by the Spirit how all we would treat Jesus. Psalm 31:11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me. The carnal mind does not want to be judged by God’s word; it’s a reproach to its thinking and we flees judgement. Jeremiah 12:14Thus, saith the Lord against all mine evil neighbours, that touch the inheritance which I have caused my people Israel to inherit; Behold, I will pluck them out of their land, and pluck out the house of Judah from among them. God’s word is his inheritance, but an evil witness or neighbors will corrupt the land or his word. Let us ask God Spirit to show us still deeper things. You know why people find the Bible boring? Even years ago, when I was in hell: because I could not get a witness to anything the Bible was Spiritually saying. Our mind is a deep dark pit, when there is no spiritual light entering in. But I never found reading the Bible boring; God was working on my evil heart even back then. Luke10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,34and went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.35 And on the morrow when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, take care of him; and whatsoever thou spendest more, when I come again, I will repay thee. Spiritually has anybody ever bounded up our wound? Spiritually millions of people have been wounded by carnally-minded Preachers or wolves. But we cannot blame those wolves too much: God gave the people what they desired. They desired a King to rule over God’s word or people. 1Samuel 8:10And Samuel told all the words of the Lord unto the people that asked of him a king. The carnal mind of man makes himself the ruler over God’s word by his own law: the law of sin and death.Romans 8:2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.Of course then they are no longer God’s words but man’s wisdom. You have become a prince of your own darkness and your subjects are your own vain thoughts. Psalm 107:40 He poureth contempt upon princes, and causeth them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way. That vain counselor you hired with the wags of sin has caused your mind to wander in darkness. Still, God has hearkened to your own desires. 1 Samuel 8: 22 And the Lord said to Samuel, hearken unto their voice, and make them a king. You are wounded by the king you have chosen: your thoughts being your sin. Note in the next verse how the word: foolishness, ties the two verses together. Psalm 38:5My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness. Proverbs 24:9The thought of foolishness is sin. We secretly hate our Spiritual neighbor and have no problem proclaiming he said something and he did not. Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. As we are studying the word neighbor: we should start to realize this is not talking physical. Leviticus 19:17 Thou shalt not hate thy brother in thine heart: thou shalt in any wise rebuke thy neighbour, and not suffer sin upon him.Did not Peter one of Jesus disciples rebuke Jesus? Matthew 16:22Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. What triggered such a response from Peter? Matthew16:21From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.Jesus, had to go to the cross so that the mortal image of man’s thinking could be destroyed; man would no longer see him as a man but God. When man can only interpret the Bible in his own wisdom, he makes God a man; then there’s nothing Spiritual about the Bible in the carnal man’s thinking. Peter could only savourest or taste the wisdom of man: Satan.Matthew 16: 23But he turned, and said unto Peter, get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men. Peter rebuked his neighbor or the word: Jesus, so he could have his own way about God’s word. Later Peter repented of his foolishness.
