CARNAL COMMANDMENTS

Philippians 3:11  and be found in him, not having mine righteous, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.  Greetings. The above verse speaks of two kind of righteousness, our righteousness is what we imagined is right to us, the first is based on how our carnal mind interpret the Law or Bible. Jesus to was born under a carnal law or a women to show us how to overcome flesh and blood: which is how we interpret. 1 Corinthians 15:50 Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption. Our corrupt way of seeing the scriptures only bring death and we corrupt ourselves.  Galatians 4:4 ​ But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth His son, made of a women, made under the law. We are not made the righteousness that is of God just because we joined a Church and went to an altar. Matthew 23:15Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.  Proselyte: a person who has converted from one opinion. The Pharisees or Pastors of our modern time have deceived you into thinking you are saved, just because you repeated a prayer them.

Not long ago you could find them somewhere attached to a public building: The Ten Commandments. But every single words of the Bible are in fact his commandments. Our law's of the land are based on them. HEBREWS 7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life. The laws of the carnal commandments are laws we can see and live by in our daily life. Jesus whom the above verse speaks of, was the Author of a greater law or covenant. Men's laws cannot make us righteous in God's sight but should be respected for what the are: Carnal commandments. When the truth is they can keep us out of jail or the courts. They are called in the Bible:''unrighteous mammon''. LUKE 16:11If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches.God true riches is His revealed word, and can God trust us with His true riches? You see it's possible for men to live a moral life but spiritually not to see the words of an invisible God. Impossible, unless God reveals His word to you. LUKE 18:27 And he said, The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. Men and women trusts in their education or social standing or governments, but mostly himself. Millions pray all night long at a physical altar and have prayed the sinner's prayer and no longer drink or smoke: thus, they trust in their own self-righteousness. LUKE 18:9-14And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others: Two men went up into the temple to pray; the one a Pharisee, and the other a publican. The Pharisee stood and prayed thus with himself, God, I thank thee, that I am not as other men, extoritions, unjust, adulterers, or even as this publican. Very few of the Church group I have met in my 25 years of Church going, most do not even live a moral life. I have seen the best of them, lie in a court of law before a mortal judge about money they claim did not exist. Now to the very few who are able to live moral life, soon become self-righteousness: by mortal man's standard but not GOD's standard. Matthew 5: 29For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter unto the Kingdom of Heaven. When men or women think they Know God without God revealing His righteousness to them, that men or women thinks his self-righteousness is greater than God. They are God's in their our mind or temple unless God righteous has to be revealed from heaven: Romans 1:18For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against ungodliness and ungodliness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness. Job the old testament prophet had to be rebuke by the youngest of his companions, Elihu because Job was self-righteous: Job 35:1 Thinkest thou this to be right, that thou saidst, My righteousness is more than God's. What does God say about our self-righteousness? Isaiah 64:6But we are all as a unclean thing. and all our righteousness’s are a filthy rag. To think millions of people after years of going to Church and doing some physical act of charity to be told: Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. What's iniquity? 1 Samuel 15:23 For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of the Lord. Why does man rejects God's word for his own? JOHN 8:37I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek kill me, because my word hath no place in you. How does man kill God's word spiritually? Romans 14:16  Let not your good be evil spoken of. Man thinks his evil is good and the Bible exposes the evil in men. God's words are light to expose the darkness in the sons of men: men spiritually rebels or rejects the light that is hid in the commandments. Proverbs 6:23 For the commandment is a lamp and the Law is light; and reproofs of instruction are the way of light. Because Jesus is the word of God, men tries to devour it [God's word] spiritually. When you devour you kill. 1 Peter 5:8Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil , as a  roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour. The carnal mind put it's own interpretation on God's word without  waiting on the Holy Ghost or having to suffering for the interpretation of it, such interpretation is of the devil. Matthew 16:23But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan; thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.  THE CARNAL MIND REFUSES TO WAIT AND IT DEVOURS AND KILLS.  Psalm 52: 4 Thou lovest all devouring words. O thou deceitful tongue. We Have to suffer in the flesh to hear from God, this is not a physical suffering 1 Peter 4:1 Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered for us in the flesh, are yourselves likewise with the same mind: for he that hath suffered in the flesh hath ceased for sin. Peter in Matthews 16:23:  is rebuked by Jesus because he savourest the things of the carnal mind or man's meat. God's meat is his will:Psalm 59: 15 Let them wander up and down for meat, and grudge if they be not satisfied. Man will or meat about God's word cannot satisfy, because they refuse to wait for God's will or meat. But for the very few that do wait on God to reveal his hidden word: Psalm 104:21These wait all upon thee; that thou mayest give them their meat in due season.  John 4:34  But he said unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.  9/19/2016 MICHAEL RUDOLPH HODGES
