TONGUES

Greetings. Let us start this letter off by asking a question. What kind of tongues were spoken in the book of Acts chapter two? It was the Spirit speaking God’s Fire. Jeremiah 23:29Is not my word like as a fire? saith the Lord; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces? God’s word, when spoken and heard by His Spirit destroys all our fleshly, earthly devilish wisdom about His character. Men wisdom spoken concerning the Bible does nothing to destroy the man of sin within us all: it strengthens the son of perdition kingdom. Matthew 12:26and if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand? Satan merely represents man’s earthly wisdom concerning the Bible and he is not about to give up his intellectual wisdom easily: man secretly thinks he is God. Mentally we are kings, our kingdom deals with our thinking and our thoughts rule us. Galatians 6:3For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself. Spiritually we know nothing unless God Spirit enters our little spirit and begins to instruct us. The man that will deceive us is our own carnal wisdom concerning the Bible and we trust this wisdom; thus, the enemy of our soul is never revealed. 2 Thessalonians 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition. Now the little word first in the above verse helps us understand spiritually what the Spirit is trying to reveal to us. At the same time our own spirit of error is trying to deceive us. 1 Corinthians 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. The day of the Lord cannot come until He has revealed to us that we never had anything of God in the first place. God will spiritually destroy that first born or son of perdition in all of us. Deuteronomy 21:16  then it shall be, when he maketh his sons to inherit that which he hath, that he may not make the son of the beloved firstborn before the son of the hated, which is indeed the firstborn. I love the above verse. [love them all] God has just given some of the Spiritual meaning of it: we love our natural first interpretation of God’s word, but hate indeed the first born, Jesus.Colossians 1:18And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. The first born among us the spiritual dead, we can never witness His word in our present spiritual condition: you must be born again by His Spirit.

 Some years ago, in my early so call Christian walk, which was not a Christian walk at all because I had no faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7(for we walk by faith, not by sight:) When we walk by sight, we are witnessing or seeing things[these things are words of God’s] what the carnal mind can see when it reads Gods word. Hebrews 11:1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. We had never hoped for the evidence of God's unseen words in fact we did not know such things even exist. Psalm 139:15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. God wrought our substances or thoughts when he created us, our thinking is devilish, sensuous, earthly: our thinking comes from the lowest parts of the earth: man’s mortal thinking. God's words are a hidden spiritual language that we cannot comprehend or speak because of darkness. John 1:5 And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Years ago, in the nightclub when they cut the lights on at 2:00 AM; people would complain because they liked the darkness. But the above verse is not talking about a physical place of darkness but the mind of man. Job 37:5 God thundereth marvellously with his voice; great things doeth he, which we cannot comprehend. Sure, we can quote scriptures, but can we expound what they mean by using other scriptures, unless God reveals the Spiritual meaning to us? If you pray for somebody that is sick and then you start speaking gibberish in an unknown tongue it makes you look good. It only proves that you are self-righteous and have no knowledge of God and you are a shame to God. 1 Corinthians 15:34 Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame. God's word can only be seen by the eyes of the spiritual blind and know they cannot see spiritually. John 9:41Jesus said unto them, If ye were blind, ye should have no sin: but now ye say, We see; therefore your sin remaineth. Millions claim to see spiritually but the truth of the matter they have no idea what it even means. My brother in law years ago was involved in a Broadway type play about the crucifixion of Jesus Christ and they need it soldiers. Certain Pastors around the country at that time were producing plays to bring attention to themselves and get the glory from men. I volunteer to play as a Roman soldier problem being, I was a certified Baptist at the time and this play was being produced by Apostolic so-called Christians. Yes, far as these people were concerned, because I was a Baptist, thus I was not saved because I did not speak in tongues, but neither were they. 1 Timothy 2:4 who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.
