John 11:1 Now a certain man was sick named Lazarus of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha. Greeting. Even if the man in this story name is Lazarus, he represents really me or you. John 11:11 These things said he: and after that he saith unto them,Our friend Lazarus sleepeth; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.We are like Jesus friend Lazarus must be  awaken out of a spiritual sleep, but like Jesus disciples [follower] we do not even know we are all spiritually dead or asleep. We are all in sin and having made the Bible our own righteousness or thoughts. Jesus's disciples could only relate to sleep as being something physical.  John 11:12  Then said his disciples, Lord, ifhe sleep, he shall do well.John 11:13  Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep. We have all been quick to take thought on spiritual things and have not the power to obtain Spirit in the words. Ecclesiastes 8:8 There is no man that hath power over the Spirit to retain the Spirit. Only the Lord God can make it spiritual plain we already dead or asleep to Spiritual things.  John 11:1 4Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. It appears his disciples thought wrong as to what Jesus meant. We all have taken our vain thoughts and make them equal to God. 1 Corinthians 3:20 And again, The Lord knoweth the thoughts of the wise, that they are vain. But how many of millions attend these Churches that are spiritually asleep and dead? The congregation thinks because they shout and dance and make a lot noise they are somehow spiritually alive. Amos 5:23 Take thou away from me the noise of thy songs; for I will not hear the melody of thy viols 1 Corinthians 15:34  Awake to righteousness, and sin not; for some have not the knowledge of God: I speak this to your shame . God righteousness is hidden from the carnal mind of man he is asleep to it. Psalm 3:23Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgement even unto my cause, my God and Lord. The Bible is a book of judgment against the carnal mind of man. John 9:39 And Jesus said,For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. We must allow God to judge our thinking; by waiting on the Holy Ghost to give us a deeper spiritual understanding to what a scripture is saying. WE ARE ALL BORN SPIRITUALLY BLIND AND DEAD? John 11:14  Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead. Now Jesus needs to awaken us to His righteousness and not what man calls righteousness and this takes faith. We cannot obtain God’s righteousness without His help: His righteousness can only come by faith. Philippians 3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith.Once God starts revealing the hidden manna which is His word now we can began to spiritually eat of the manna from heaven. If you do not you will be eating of our own words. Most of us have heard the phrase: ''I'm going to make you eat those word''. John 6:31  Our fathers did eat manna in the desert; as it is written, He gave them bread from heaven to eat. John 6:49  Your fathers did eat manna in the wilderness, and are dead. It is how we spiritually eat of the Lord’s word, yet we want our own fleshly way of seeing it. Numbers 11:4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel wept again, and said, who shall give us flesh to eat?  When man partakes of God word without patiently waiting on the Holy Spirit he savourest the thing of man: we are all devils because we want to see the scriptures our way. Savourest deal with how we partake or spiritual eat of something. Job 6:6 Can that which is unsavourly be eaten without salt?  Mark 8:33  But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get thee behind me, Satan: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.  If Jesus rebuke his disciple Peter and called him Satan for making his carnal thoughts: GOD’s thoughts. Can we do the same and not be judged? 1Corinthians 10:21  Ye cannot drink the cup of the Lord, and the cup of devils: ye cannot be partakers of the Lord's table, and of the table of devils. The cup of devils is men way of spiritually eating, dining on dead things: men thoughts about the Bible. Isaiah 28:8For all tables are full of vomit and filthiness, so that there is no place clean. We cannot have it both ways of us seeing God's word our own way and calling it His wisdom. James 1:8A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.  If you want to spiritually partaker of the hidden mama of the Lord? Then die the spiritual death that glorify God and quit thinking we are god. Man carnal thinking has to be put to death before you can eat at the Lord's table, just as Lazarus was raised from the death physically, we have to be raised spiritually by dying spiritually first, to what we once believed. John 11:23And when he thus had spoken he cried with a loud voice [YOUR NAME HERE] come forth. John 12:2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him; JESUS!  10/10/2016  Michael Rudolph Hodges /attended 12/19/2020 / amended 4/28/2021 /amended 3/11/2022
