LIAR

Greetings. James 3:14But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. We will return to the spiritual meaning of this scripture as we progress. If I take the liberty to add my own interpretation of it: I just lied against its true Spiritual meaning. I suppose the first lie I ever told would probably be to my parents, which in most cases didn't go over too well since they knew I was lying. Our lies were usually formed at a very young age, when we were confronted by someone in authority or older than us. The first time we read a Bible or heard something from it and thought we understood it: a wicked Lier was born. Psalm 58:3The wicked are estranged from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies. On any given Sunday Preachers who are not called of God; speak enough lies that would shame a politician. Yet they will receive glory from other men and if they are great in physical number: they feel great and safe from God’s wrath. Isaiah 28:15Because ye have said, We have made a covenant with death, and with hell are we at agreement; when the overflowing scourge shall pass through, it shall not come unto us: for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. The covenant of death with be with our own wisdom and we reject the wisdom from above: we remain in hell. Those Saturday door knockers were right, this is hell down here on this physical planet. Psalm 16:10For thou wilt not leave my soul in hell; neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption.  King David spoke this verse while he was physically alive on this planet: he knew his soul or understanding was in Hell and the Holy One {Jesus} would not corrupt God’s words. Jesus scourged the physical temple: ours will be a spiritual scourge of the carnal mind, to drive out our ungodly thoughts or lies about the character of God. The medical community calls the side of our head a temple. John 2:15and when he had made a scourge of small cords, he drove them all out of the temple Do we lie if there is bitterness, envy, strife in our hearts? One long dead politician once said the bigger the lie the more people believe it. And we feel if people lie to us, then we cannot trust them. Why would we put so much confidence in people in the first place? Could we glory in the lies or our own earthly wisdom about the Bible? Yes! Millions do because they feel their wisdom is greater than God’s. James 3:14But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth. Sometimes we might lie because we fear the outcome of a certain situation; other times maybe to impress other people. Point being we are all Liars and calling other people liars makes us feel better about ourselves.

When I was a kid my mother called lies: stories, another name for stories is fables. People back then would say you're telling a fib or story, something you made up. 2 Peter 1:16 For we have not followed cunningly devised fables, when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but were eyewitnesses of his majesty. Men have created a cunning lie or fables when they claim they were saved at a physical altar. Hosea 8:11Because Ephraim hath made many altars to sin, altars shall be unto him to sin. Millions have kneeled and wept at a physical altar and spiritually kept their own wisdom, which is sin. We become spiritual eyewitnesses when God is revealing his covenant to us; other wise we have no proof God exists. I recall years ago at an all-night prayer meeting, about 12 AM somebody who had stopped off at Mc Donald’s came in. The smell or glory of two double all beef patties and onions on somebody breath, filled the sanctuary. This angered the Pastor after all we were supposed to be fasting and none of us knew what a spiritual fast was. Malachi 2:13 And this have ye done again, covering the altar of the Lord with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering anymore, or receiveth it with good will at your hand. God regardeth not our all-night prayer meeting: it was a waste of time, sense none of us had anything of God. None of the members at that Church were saved because none had any knowledge of God’s truth only their own. 1 Timothy 2:4who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. To come unto God’s truth, we would have left our earthly- devilish knowledge concerning the Bible. We have all added our own wisdom on God’s word and millions never realize this. Proverbs 30:6Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. Unless God reproves us and shows how we have added our own thoughts unto His words, we will glory in our lies and our lies remain hidden in our hearts. Isaiah 28:15 [latter part of verse] for we have made lies our refuge, and under falsehood have we hid ourselves. In our modern society where the leaders lie every time they speak; it’s acceptable because people at all levels are doing the same thing: they are one. But lying to God and not man is not the same. John 8:44
Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it. When we speak our own wisdom concerning the scriptures, we have spiritually murdered every scripture we touch, and fathered more lies to glorify ourselves. The devil is just man’s wisdom and not some made-up invisible entity: that’s just a fable of man’s evil imagination. If I want to see the devil all I have to do is look into a mirror. And with over five thousand beauty products at your local drug store, you can dress your devil up a bit.
