THE QUICKEN AND THE DEAD

Romans 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. Greetings. Have we ever pleaded that God or prayed that He made known the Spiritually meaning of His word? Psalm 119:154 Plead my cause, and deliver me: quicken me according to thy word. The Bible speaks a lot about the word flesh: which represents man’s thinking and the way he see things[words] about the Bible, and in this condition God's words have to Spiritually quicken or made known unto us. But God sees the Bible how He wrote it and it would appear the writers of the above movies saw the above verse and came up with a title for a movie. Unless God quicken His word unto us we are spiritually dead.  Job 10:4 Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth? God became a man in the form of the sinful flesh to show us own sins. 1 Corinthians 5:21For he hath made him to be sin for us,[you]who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteous of God in him. Until we can see all our thoughts about the Bible is sin, we are lost and cannot be saved. Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.  Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he [ JESUS] humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Jesus in the scripture above, humbled himself even thou He was God to allow all fleshly thinking to be destroyed by the cross. Timothy 3:16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh. When we are in the flesh simply means we are in our own thinking about God or His word. Romans 8:8 So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. Millions believe this verses in only talking about physical appetites: drunkenness or liver destroying beverages, excess sexual pleasure which lead to unwanted kids. Give yourself a pat on back if have done away with such a lewd expensive lifestyle, yet we are still unprofitable to God. But God by His Spirit, [not our spirit] is not talking physical appetites. Proverbs 23:20 Be not among wine bibbers; among riotous eaters of flesh.Proverbs 23:20  is not taking about Cannibalism, nothing in the Bible is physical. People read whole chapters in the Bible thinking they are being fed God’s word but instead are eating their own[flesh] riotous thoughts] Romans 8:5 For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit. Thus our natural mind we are all born with only see our fleshly thoughts about the Bible and this is sin. Proverbs 24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. You must die spiritually to every thought you had about God and His Holy word. You must lose your mind and become as a dead man: to get the mind of Christ. Psalms 31:12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel. A broken spiritual vessel cannot hold any living spiritual water thus, we are spiritual cracked pots. Philippians 2:8And being found in fashion as a man, he [JESUS] humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Jesus humbled himself and became obedient to the cross having being fashioned as mortal man. Millions of Church goers have no idea what the cross represents: spiritual death. Matthew 16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, be it far from thee, Lord: this shall not be unto thee. I must allow my mortal thinking to be crucified: my mortal thinking represents the world: yet it shall not be unto me, to allow my thinking to be judged by the Bible. Galatians 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world. This kind of thinking is was foreign to our natural brute mind. Paul in the above verse glory in the fact his mortal thinking about the Bible had been destroyed, who do think we are not to pick up your cross? Again, yet it shall not be unto us! Matthew 16:24  Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. As I write these this letter I must endure the great fight of affections as the old man tries to tempt me to put my thoughts on God’s Holy word. Hebrews 10:32But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions. Once you began to die spiritually God’s word takes on a perfect meaning, it becomes Spiritual alive or quicken. You are allowing the flesh to be judged, this the work of the cross. 1 Peter 3:18For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.Romans 8:11  But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you. In order to hear the gospel you must be dead. God only quicken those who know they’re dead or carnally minded.1Peter 4:6For this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead. You cannot be saved if your Pastor has not died to what he once believes about the Bible; in fact he not called to preach. Spiritually he is dead to the wisdom of God and the words of the Bible are dead creatures. God's words are more than mere word but living creatures but we kill them and make them the dead Letter of the Law. Roman 7:6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in the newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter. Years ago at a Church[false church] I was a member of the Pastor say: ''God will fire you and leave you on the job''. He was speaking against himself and did not even know it. Romans 10:14  How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?  Michael Rudolph Hodges 11/20/2016/
