Greetings. Follow sojourners, as we ask the Holy Ghost to reveal the hidden treasures to us as we travel in a strange Spiritual land. A land that hidden from the carnal mind of men, because they are lost.  2 Corinthians 4:3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. Luke 5:26  And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day. When God start to reveal His hidden word to us it will sound strange. Hebrews 13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares. The same words were there all the time in the: ''Law of sin and death'' or what anybody can see when reading the Bible. Romans 8:2For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. The Bible is the promise land and to possess it, you must drive out your carnal thoughts about it. Numbers 33:53  And ye shall dispossess the inhabitants of the land, and dwell therein: for I have given you the land to possess it.  My thoughts and God thoughts cannot agree when we read His words; the thoughts I possess about His character must be dispossess!  Amos 3:3Can two walk together, except they be agreed. Millions of the Ancient People of Israel set out for the promise land and only two made it. Millions meet on any given Sunday and cannot tell you one meaning of a parable in the Bible: they do not ever know they reading are parables. Every verses in the Bible is a parable. Numbers 26:65  For the LORD had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. And there was not left a man of them, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.  Sure we can pick up a Bible but can we possess the land or spiritual meaning of His word or will we despised it? Psalm 106:24  Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word. Psalm 106:25  But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD. Our carnal thoughts presents giants and will stop us from receiving anything spiritual from God. Thus God’s words remain parables to millions. When come into the promise of his word this happens: Numbers 13:27  And they told him, and said, We came unto the land whither thou sentest us, and surely it floweth with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it. Numbers 13:28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.  The carnal thoughts that dwell hidden in are mind will come us and these thoughts are very great. Numbers 13:29  The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan. Now you can attend a  College and know the History of all these ancient people but that will not get you out of hell. Some of our thoughts are protected by walls but not physical walls. Proverbs 18:11 The rich man's wealth is his strong city, and as an high wall in his own conceit.  Our treasures in our heart have made us rich men, again nothing physical. Only at sound of a trumpets can these walls of deceit come down. Joshua 6:20  So the people shouted when the priests blew with the trumpets: and it came to pass, when the people heard the sound of the trumpet, and the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city. Now in the military the Bugler calls to assembly the troops. Now when you start reading Bible you must wait on the Bugler or trumpets before you charge into battle. Joshua 6:10  And Joshua had commanded the people, saying, Ye shall not shout, nor make any noise with your voice, neither shall any word proceed out of your mouth, until the day I bid you shout; then shall ye shout.  We must be silent in our minds and wait on the Holy Ghost in that day until you have God’s light: God's day is Light. Jeremiah 4:5  Declare ye in Judah, and publish in Jerusalem; and say, Blow ye the trumpet in the land: cry, gather together, and say, Assemble yourselves, and let us go into the defenced cities.  When we are reading God’s word go in slowly because the Amalekites, Jesusites, canaanites are there [ thoughts against God’s words] to stop you from receiving  anything Spiritual from God’s word. Assemble the troops or God's words because we are going in and when the trumpet sounds, up and over a wall of deceit of our own deceit. Psalms 18:29  For by thee I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.  Years ago I loved to quote the above verse, thinking it sounded real cool after all King David wrote it. But my carnal mind had no spiritual understanding to what I was saying.   Psalm 47:5God is gone up with a shout the Lord with the sound of a trumpet. I could not  hear the trumpet, it was a uncertain sound. God is going to show what sin is, your thoughts or foolishness against His word. Proverbs 24:9 The thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. The scorner those Amalekites must fall, the Holy Ghost shows you your transgressions like a trumpet. Isaiah 58:1Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins. The trumpet represent God’s words this[Hebrews 12:19  And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words] and this how it works: find verses with the same word in them.1 Corinthians 2:13  Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. When you compare God’s word with our own thoughts, we are comparing God's wisdom with something that is spiritually dead, us. The wall will not come down when we are commending our own thoughts. 2 Corinthians 10:12  For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. We are into our own thoughts about the Bible and are hearing an uncertain sound. 1Corinthians 14:8  For if the trumpet give an uncertain sound, who shall prepare himself to the battle? The battle for our souls will be fought in the mind and this Battle cannot be won, when we go into battle in our person or thoughts.  But some men and women refuse to leave Egypt or their own thoughts about the Bible. Jeremiah 42:14  Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell. 1/14/2017 MICHAEL RUDOLPH HODGES   / amend 7/1/2021
