REJECTS
GREETINGS.Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. Knowing or unknowingly we reject God's plan for salvation of our souls and come up with our own plan or works: works are something we physically do to make ourselves look righteous. Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. Men love to boast or speak of how many sick peoples they have visited and some other physical acts of self-promoting. God rejects our good-works because we want to bring glory to ourselves to get the admiration from others. WHEN WE SPEAK OUR OWN WISDOM ABOUT GOD'S WORD WE HAVE NEVER SEEN HIM GLORY! John 7:18 He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh his glory that sent him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in him. If we are honest with ourselves we have all been rejected by someone or some institution. Sometimes we are rejected by a mate or a job we would have crawled on our belly to have got. We all reject God's wisdom which is from above, because we feel our own earthly, devilish wisdom concerning His word is wiser: God then rejects us. Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee. The above verse I must heard quoted hundreds of times by men and women who did not understand spiritually this parable. Proverbs 26:7 The legs of the lame are not equal: so is a parable in the mouth of fools. Every verse in the Bible is a parable and if we lack spiritual knowledge, it is only because we reject God’s wisdom for our carnal wisdom. Proverb 1:23 Turn you at my reproof: behold, I will pour out my spirit unto you, I will make known my words unto you. Take correction or reproof if you want God to start revealing the parables to you! Proverbs 24:7 Wisdom is too high for a fool... A fool is the person who makes their thoughts or wisdom equal to God. Isaiah 40:25 To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equal? saith the Holy One. My love of my life, once pointed out to me that people are always chasing people that did not want them. Now this was her earthly wisdom, but I believe God uses rejection here on this physical earth to show us how we reject His word. Rejection hurts! Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. We feel if I change my hair, lose fifty pounds, make more money; that somehow that person will start to want us. Sometimes this works, but only for a while or to that other person has had enough of you. Romans 10:21But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people. God stretches his hand out to us: a disobedient gainsaying people. Disobedient to God’s way so we can gain[GAINSAYER] our own thoughts about His Holy word. Mark 8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? The words whole world, in the above verse just represents man’s wisdom about the Bible. Our own worldly wisdom gained us no spiritual profit and we lose your soul. Ecclesiates 12:7Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. Spiritually you gain nothing when you refuse to let the Holy Ghost teach you the interpretation of the Bible. Your way or your thoughts are perfect to you only, or other carnally minded people. God is not impressed with man's self-righteousness. Job 22:3 Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that thou art righteous?or is it gain to him, that thou makest thy ways perfect? Notice in the above verse: thou makest thy ways perfect? Men tries to make their thoughts perfect and then call them God's thoughts. Isaiah 55:8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. Isaiah 53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. If the lover we pursue in this physical world, does not esteemed you and in fact they might even despised you. But what if they keep telling you they love you and treat you like crap: their heart is not with you, neither has our hearts been toward God. Matthew15:8 This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me. Many times in people life: one person tells another they simply do not love them anymore, for whatever reason. How convenient for the person wanting out of the relationship. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Only God knows what is in the hearts of man. John 2:25 And needed not that any should testify of man: for he knew what was in man. Once God shows an individual his own wicked heart; nobody can ever deceive you again. Because you uncovered the biggest deceiver you will ever meet and guess who he or she is? You ! But men esteem other men thoughts about the Bible. Luke 16:15 And he said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God. I’ve once attended a stadium full of men, as we highly esteemed one another and nothing of God was spoken by the speakers. We all vowed to keep promises to each but none to God. Of the 50,000 men there that day, there was not one wise man there. Proverbs 17:28 Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding. Think of all the song that have been written about people in love with people that did not love them: ''I’m going to make you love me,'' ''You’re as cold as ice'', ''Hurry up this way again'', thousands of songs with the same theme. But we do not love God and His words; His word represents the promise land in the Bible. Psalms 106:24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word. One of my favorite love song, no better still is a rejection song that goes like this:'' You don’t love me like you us to do, my hair is still curly and my eyes are still blue. Why do you treat me like a wore out shoe''. Mark 7:9 And he said unto them, Full well ye reject the commandment of God, that ye may keep your own tradition. Your tradition are your thoughts about God's words and we all have them. Hosea 4:6My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge..... We reject God's Spiritual knowledge, that way[your thoughts] we can keep our carnal knowledge and reject God. Of course the devil or your wisdom, does not have any rejects. John 15:19If ye were of the world, the world would love his own. The physical people of this world love their own wisdom about the Bible and are unaware a greater wisdom exists.
