THOSE THAT READ THE BIBLE AND THE BILLIONS OF CHRISTIAN THAT DO NOT

Greetings. The man [now about 80 years old] who introduced me to the scriptures was a hippie doing the sixties. Years later, when most hippies turned in their beads and long hair for a more acceptable look: even two of the most famous hippies went into politics. Many of the hippies were a part of the Jesus freaks movement and were strange to the general public. Yet, many of them could hear God’s hidden voice in the scriptures and that made them the envy of the established church who could not hear anything spiritual. The singer Elton John sang of them in one of his songs calling them Jesus Freaks. Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved. The ones that could discern God’s voice in His word were hated not because of their strange lifestyle, but because God was making himself known unto them. John 10:27My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. The sheep in the above verse symbolize God's words and the people that can spiritually hear his words are Spiritual sheep. God’s words when a person who has heard them will come as a rebuke to the person they are trying to help. Psalm 39:11When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah. When God uses someone to rebuke someone, they speak severely to them because they have said or done something that God did not approve of. God disapprove strongly when we make His word our own wisdom and we all do this at first unknowingly. Iniquity in the above verse is man’s self-righteousness and vanity deals with our vain thoughts as to the meaning of the scriptures. Exodus 20:7Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. At first, we all take the Lord’s name in vain or our own thoughts and this is unavoidable: we are all guilty before God. Romans 3:19Now we know that what things soever the law saith, it saith to them who are under the law: that every mouth may be stopped, and all the world may become guilty before God. The things in the above verse are God’s word and when we are under the law; these things are under our own wisdom or the law of sin and death.Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. Notice how beautiful these two laws are hidden in the above verse and they remain hidden until God opens our eyes of flesh. Job 10:4Hast thou eyes of flesh? or seest thou as man seeth? I was admiring some beautiful flowers the other day and thought about buying some. Then I had another thought: since it is the fall season why bother, they would be dead soon. Psalm 39:11 When thou with rebukes dost correct man for iniquity, thou makest his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah. Our beauty in the above verse is symbolized by the beauty of a moth who has a truly short lifespan of about six months. Moths are nocturnal creatures and like the creature man: prefer spiritual darkness and moths prefer physical nighttime. One of the points of this five-part letter: is to show us that some people have heard God’s voice yet did not endure to hear the whole counsel of God to the end of all their fleshly thinking about the scriptures. Matthew 10:22 And ye shall be hated of all men for my name’s sake: but he that endureth to the end shall be saved.
