Greeting. Proverbs 21:23Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles. Does my mouth and what I believe have anything to do with the keeping of my soul? Everything beloved and you are going to need Spiritual help. Hebrews 10:39But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul. We will allow the Holy Ghost to illuminate the Spiritual meaning of the above verse and others as He wills. The subject of their soul is usually on everybody’s mind at one time or another. Movies and video games seem to be also Intrigued with this subject. One video game system has over a dozen games with the word soul in the title. One old television series shows a man playing a pool game over the possession of his soul against the devil. Thus, the Bible is the only Spiritual book that contains instructions for the saving of our souls. With the word soul mention close to 500 times in the Bible where does one begin? The Prophet Elijah prayed for a young child soul to return. 1Kings 17:17  And it came to pass after these things, that the son of the women, the mistress of the house fell sick; and his sickness was so sore, that there was no breath left In him. No breath left in the child. At this point in this letter, I am waiting on God’s wisdom to appear in the scripture. These things do not always come at once and It could take days or weeks for God to give us the spiritual answer. 1 kings 17:21And he stretched himself upon the child three times, and cried unto the Lord, and said, O Lord my God, I pray thee, let this child’s soul come into him again. It is a strange thing to have talked to someone and you leave the room and when you return, they are dead. Nobody must tell you their breath has left you feel it. Psalm 104:29Thou hidest thy face, they are troubled: thou takest away their breath, they die, and return to their dust. When God hides His face from us, we are in darkness and His light is knowledge of His word. But because of the darkness in our heart, we cannot comprehend that light. John 1:5And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not. Our heart is a very dark spiritual pit, but we believe otherwise: very few will allow God to reveal what is hidden there. Jeremiah 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it? Only God’s knows our heart and we have no desire to see it as He sees it!

 2 Corinthians 4:6  For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of JesusChrist. God light gives Spiritual knowledge to those that desire to hear the truth. 1 Kings 17:22 And the Lord heard the voice for Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. Where did the soul go and what does revive means to God? The soul went back to the dead, the soul is an understanding of God’s word, not a physical thing. These spiritual things or words all start to flow together or march together as God gives His understanding. God’s words come to make war with my carnal understanding if I hear it as he speaks them. Proverbs 20:18Every purpose is established by counsel: and with good advice make war. Since none of my own thoughts are any good concerning God words I cannot go to war. God’s purpose is to destroy the man of sin in all of us: crucify that bastard. Those thoughts we birthed in the mind concerning His word are not born of the Spirit, but from a whore who has no father. Hebrews 12:8 But if ye be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. The spiritual chastisement gives us a soul or understanding so that we can be sons of God.  Job 34:15
But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.
I often took notes at varies Churches I attended for roughly twenty-five years; none of the Pastors or members had any spiritual knowledge. Psalm 146:4His breath goeth forth, he returneth to his earth; in that very day his thoughts perish.  His thoughts perish have we ever heard such a thing. Matthew 10:19 But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak: for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. The they, in the above verse will be our own thoughts that will deliver us up to speak death or our own wisdom concerning God's word.  
This sounds absurd to our carnal mind that millions could be deceived, why would God allow such a thing? We love our own wisdom about the Bible and secretly hate any correction His words can give. Job 32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty giveth them understanding. I listen to God's word for hours on an MP3 player waiting until he gives the understanding of what I am hearing. A soul is simply an understanding of God's word which none of us have at first. Without a spiritual understanding or wisdom given by God we are mortal in understanding: God’s words are immortal. EIihu, Job’s friend spiritually knew this as he rebuked Job’s for his self-righteousness. Job 33:8 Job hath spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom. The Holy Ghost teaches an understanding we all need to receive correction from God's word.

 John 20:22And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost. How do we know if we have received the Holy Ghost? 1 John 2:27  But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him. The first man which will try to teach us, will be our own person or the carnal mind. 1 Corinthians 15:46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual. When we are receiving natural wisdom from the first man [OUR OWN THOUGHTS] we have no spiritual understanding and spiritually are already dead.

This man of sin [FIRST MAN]in all of us mocks the things of God and deceives us into thinking we interpret God’s word as he sees them. A child in the Bible represent someone without any spiritual understanding of God’s words. How does one begin to get a spiritual understanding of God’s word? 1 Peter 2:2 as newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. Every person starts off a babe, or child in the understanding of God’s word or no Spiritual understanding. A newborn physical baby will never refuse milk and will make their desire known by crying. The things most so-called Christians cry out is for God to give them a bigger house or better job. If sickness is in our physical body perhaps God is not the head, there is no physical sickness in the spiritual body of Christ. Isaiah 1:5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.The leading cause of physical death in the United States is heart disease. We are spiritually revolting by rejecting God’s wisdom for our own devilish wisdom. Millions mistake physical things as being a sign that they are blessed of God. When God is not revealing His words to us, we simply are not blessed by Him. A contestant on a game show I was watching, prayed for God to help her to pick the right curtain. The host rebuked her and said, God has more important things to do. He was letting her know the physical blessing were coming from the sponsor. How can a Christian spiritually grow if they never make time to ever try to study the Bible: they are not Christians and a desire to study fails? We simply justified ourselves because we have more urgent things to do and after all, God knows my heart: you bet He does. Luke 9:59  And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father. We all make time for the things we desire. Luke 9:60  Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go thou and preach the kingdom of God. This verse tells us spiritually we are already dead: without an understanding of spiritual things. Jesus did not rebuke the person who justified himself because of a physically dead father but let him do what he thought was important. No television program or sporting event, neither relatives that want to waste your time with foolishness should stop us from following the Lord. Let us look at another verse with the same word, dead in it: saying we are all born spiritually dead. Luke 24:4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. Our minds get perplexed because we go to the scriptures thinking we can comprehend a living God in our dead carnal way of seeing. Luke 24:5 and as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead?Gods verses are strange to us, and we are only familiar with the natural meaning of them: this would be the milk. 1 Kings 17:22And the Lord heard the voice for Elijah; and the soul of the child came into him again, and he revived. Spiritually we are all represented as the child in the above verse and will die in our sins when we remain on the milk of the word. We might have to spiritually suck on such things. Matthew 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
