BROKEN VESSELS THAT NEED TO BE FILLED

Greeting. Mentally we do not look upon ourselves as vessels, yet we are spiritual containers of something. People who might want to insult another, might say they are full of themselves: thus, giving over to an idea of a physical container. Psalm 31:12
I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel. The above verse spiritual meaning has been hidden from me for years; because I wanted to see it my way: which is sin. By faith by the end of this letter I trust God to reveal it’s meaning to me. Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. We falsely think that we are blessed by something physical: car, new job, divorce settlement, etc. These things have nothing to do with being blessed of God because they are only physical. Psalm 1:1  Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly.  When my counsel or thinking is based on my own wisdom as to the interpretation of God’s words: I will not be blessed, rather still I will be cursed. Deuteronomy 27:26Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen. God words are confirmed by comparing spiritual words or things and letting the Holy Ghost give the true interpretation. When we refuse to allow the Holy Ghost to reveal the spiritual meaning: we become vessels of dishonor. Ezekiel 13:6  They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The Lord saith: and the Lord hath not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word. Millions of Preachers cannot confirm God’s word and the Lord hath not sent them. I am spiritually walking by sight or what the carnal mind can see, when reading the Bible: this requires no faith. 2 Corinthians 5:7(for we walk by faith, not by sight:) To be filled with God’s Spirit we have to depart from our own evil thoughts. How would we know if we hunger and thirst after God’s righteousness? When we want to see God’s words as he sees them we are thirsting after His righteousness. In the physical, I am amazed at all the different drink products that claim to quench your thirst: when water from the kitchen faucet once did the job. Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Our problem has been: spiritually we hunger after our own will about the Bible and want to see it in the flesh or mortal men wisdom. James 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy? We lust spiritually to make God’s words our own interpretation; that way we get the vain glory. We become a spiritual vessels filled with our own devices. 2 Corinthians 2:11  lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices. What would be the devices of the carnal mind or Satan? Lies about the scriptures and ourselves. People going around saying they are filled with God’s Spirit only to be filled with God’s contempt against God’s words. Psalm 123:3 Have mercy upon us, O Lord, have mercy upon us: for we are exceedingly filled with contempt. If King David could confess even he had contempt for God’s words, who are we?
