​​​Years ago as my mother carefully removed all the big pieces of meat from a small chicken bone and gave it to my baby brother. That little guy sucked on it for dear life and his little hand were like a small vise when you tried to take it from him. A little meat eater was born. Jesusasked his disciples: John 21:5Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answer him , NO.I asked two Christians the other day to tell me something spiritual or anything God had revealed to them. Now the question to you, have you anything spiritual? Or any meat? Let's look at the words meat and labour for a launching point today. 1 Corinthians 3:8And every man shall receive his own reward according to his labour. Jesus said: John 6:27Labournot for the meat which perisheth, but for the meat which endureth unto everlasting life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him hath God the Father sealed. Here we can see that when we read the Bible we receive for the way we Labour. Either for the meat that perished or the meat that endureth unto everlasting life. Let us see we need a deeper spiritual understanding that only the Holy Spirit can reveal. By putting scriptures together and letting the Holy Spirit interpret the Bible. By comparing spiritual words with other spiritual words; only then can we labour in the word: which is the meat that endureth unto everlasting Life. Let us see how this is done by these two scriptures, first: John 4:32But he said unto them, I have meat to eat that ye know not of. Now let the Bible interpret itself and keeping the carnal thoughts off what I think that scripture mean, Now: John 4:34Jesus saith unto them, My meat is to do the will of him that sent me, and to finish his work.So we can see the meat of the word is to do the will of the Father. Now we can see why Jesus prayed; Luke 11:12 Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Not to labour for my carnal understanding of God's word or the meat that perisheth. Notice how we must use scriptures that have the same words in them and the other scriptures will give that deeper spiritual understanding that we need. Stay with us on this. John 4:10 If thou knewest the gift of God.  See how Jesus cuts it off and does not tell the woman[that's us] at the well what the gift of God is. But if we can find another scripture with the same words to give us the spiritual understanding only the Holy Spirit can reveal. So what's the gift of God?Romans 6:23For the wags of of sin is death; but the GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE, through Jesus Christ our Lord. Let's us learn to do this through out the whole Bible.  Example: Romans 6:23 For the wags of sin is death.Now let's use: Romans 8:6For to be carnally minded is death. Laboring with our carnal mind produces unprofitable wags and we are unprofitable servant: we are in laboring in the night. Matthew 25:30 And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth. I thought Roman 8:6 was talking about physical death for many years; and what is sin?Proverbs 24:9 The thought of foolish is sin. I sinned and brought death on that verse: Romans 6:23  when I thought it was talking about physical death. Ever wonder why people wander from Church to Church complaining there are not being spiritually fed. Psalms 59:15Let them wander up and down for meat and grudge if they be not satisfied. They wander out of God ways of truth and take another path or their own thinking about the scriptures: they have taken thought. Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat?  This is not talking about physical food, but our own thinking makes everything in the Bible physical. The carnal mind make Sunday a physical day or the Lord's Day. Stop right there! What does the Bible call the Lords Day? Revelation 1:10I was in the Spirit on the Lord's Day. Right now if God revealing His word to you it's the Lord Day. My baby brother was given milk long before he was ever given meat.1 Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. You must first have a sincere desire even for milk. Milk is the carnal commandments of man. And if you're into racial things and hustling, cheating, lying, you're not even sincere in the milk. Ever try to feed a baby or a carnal minded self-righteous person something spiritual? Something they do not want to hear, so they spiritually spit it back up on you.I Corinthians 3:2I fed you with milk, and not with meat; for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able.  What if my mother had given my baby brother a bone with meat on it? The little guy could not bear it.Psalms 111:5He hath gave meat unto them fear him.Now do not think we already know what the fear of the lord is. like I did for 25 years.
