Mark 10:17  And when he was gone forth and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life? Some 35 years ago a Minister spoke for 45 minute expounding his witness or thoughts on the Bible. Exodus 20:16  Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. The false witness is not your physical neighbor but our own thoughts against the words of God. Millions of people expound their thoughts on a verse in the Bible or their own witness; never knowing this is transgressing God's Law. Jeremiah 9:5  And they will deceive every one his neighbour, and will not speak the truth: they have taught their tongue to speak lies, and weary themselves to commit iniquity. How many of us can go around saying false things about our physical neighbor and who really care? But millions go around every day saying God is like this or that, without a true witness to what God word say He’s like. Mark 14:55 And the chief priests and all the council sought for witness against Jesus to put him to death; and found none. The chief priests represents our council or thoughts we put on God's word without seeking the Holy Ghost council: they are chief because we hold them in high esteem in our minds.  Thus our own chief council seeks to put spiritual death on God’s word every time we read it. No resurrection power only the dead letter of the word which kills spiritually any Spiritual knowledge hidden in the words. 2 Corinthians 3:6  Who also hath made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: for the letter killeth, but the spirit giveth life. Still many will mock this web site and others like it and say: there is no hidden word of God and yet some will hear: Act 17:32And when they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some mocked: and others said, We will hear thee again of this matter. But to those that say there is not an hidden gospel: 2 Corinthians 4:3  But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost. On any given Sunday, Ministers will proclaim the doors of the physical Church were open: so come on down!  Sounds like you are on the: ''Price is Right.'' People go down to an physical altar to give their heart to Jesus. Problem is the condition of our heart, God cannot use our hard hearts. King David saw the spiritually condition of our hard heart thousands of years ago. Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. On any Sunday some came running down to the altar even as the rich fellow in Mark 10:17 and began to confess their sins. I remember after my physical confession I did not feel saved [because I was not: this happen back in 1983 ] but felt that God might be real, yet I had no Spiritual proof. After I opened my eyes after repeating after some women: ''the sinners prayer'' and when I opened my eyes, the Church was strangely empty of the 300 people or more, who had departed downstairs were the smell of fried chicken had put a hook in their nose.  Mark 10:17  And when he was gone forth into the way, there came one running, and kneeled to him, and asked him, Good Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?Mark 10:19 Thou knowest the commandments, Do not commit adultery, Do not kill, Do not steal, Do not bear false witness, Defraud not, Honour thy father and mother. Mark 10:20  And he answered and said unto him, Master, all these have I observed from my youth. 
Mark 10:21  Then Jesus beholding him loved him, and said unto him,One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.  Observed in Mark 10:20this guy appears to be to boosting and justifying himself.   Mark 10:22  And he was sad at that saying, and went away grieved: for he had great possessions.What was this guy great possession or riches he could not give up? But remember nothing in the Bible is literal. He refuse to give up his our wisdom and knowledge! Ezekiel 28:4  With thy wisdom and with thine understanding thou hast gotten thee riches, and hast gotten gold and silver into thy treasures: Ezekiel 28:5  By thy great wisdom and by thy traffick hast thou increased thy riches, and thine heart is lifted up because of thy riches. To inherit the Kingdom of God we must be sell what we have: our earthly wisdom or devilish knowledge about God character. Sounds easy? I went 25 year of having had repented of my lewd lifestyle to than come to the true repentance. 2 Corinthians 7:10  For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death. There are two types of repentance hidden in the above verse.   2 Timothy 2:25  In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth.God can only give repentance to the sin, then we be sorrowful for the putting sin on His word every time we opened our vile mouth against His Holy word.  Romans 7:13  Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. Sure we should or could be sorry for some of the cruel things we have all done to others but this is not Godly sorrow: it only worldly sorrow or death.Hebrews 6:1  Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God.  Dead works are the things we did to make ourselves look holy to others: long dresses, cannot dance at wedding, altar calls, physical foot washing, and so on. Godly sorrow is when we realize we have all taken the Lord name in vain by putting our vain carnal interpretation on His Holy word. Even is if we never picked up a Bible we have all created a corrupt image of what we thought God is just like me in our mind. Psalm 50:21These things hast thou done, and I kept silence: thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. He is a unknown God to the carnal mind and we worship the image of a beast our thoughts. The carnal mind of man or woman is born ignorance of the righteousness of God and does not know how to repent. Luke 5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. Now once God starts to show us His true repentance. By then after we have stopped our lewd ways then we can see we are not righteous but only self-righteousness sinner: no better than the physical prostitute or physical murderer on the street.  But people refuse to repent of what they said or thought about the Bible: we all love our own earthly wisdom, it makes us look good. Jeremiah 8:6I hearkened and heard, but they spake not aright: no man repented him of his wickedness, saying , what have I done? every one turned to his course, as the horse rusheth into the battle.  Act 17:30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent. What man's ignorance in the above verse? Ephesians 4:18  Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart.  Many will go forward with a deceitful heart and kneels down and says:Lord I talk in tongues and a proud card carrying member of a Full Gospel Church. Baptized in Jesus name in physical water and saved from my youth up. I built houses on foreign mission fields, pray every morning at five o clock and struggle to stay awake on the job. What lack I?  Mark 10:21  Then Jesus beholding him loved him,and said unto him, One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up thecross, and follow me. The carnal mind has a multitude of riches. I can only be saved when I confess I am a sinner, thus confessing I never was saved by my works: by going to a physical altar. By a physical act I never have to give up any of my thinking in this world. Matthew 10:29 He that findeth his life shall lose it: and he that loseth his life for my sake shall find it.  Problem being: man has not been willing to give up his worldly wisdom about God. 1 Corinthians 1:21  For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.  Believe what? That God's wisdom is greater than man's and any Preacher that's not preaching that[the cross] is not called to preach: they cannot hear the faith. 10/3/2016    amended 4/12/2021 / amended 6/8/2022 / amended 8/7/2022           Michael Rudolph Hodges
