Greeting. Act 8 27: And he arose and went and, behold, a man of Ethiopia, an eunuch of great authority under Candace queen of the Ethiopians, who had the charge of all her treasure, and had come to Jerusalem for to worship, and was returning, and sitting in chariot read Esaias the prophet.Act 8:30 And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said Understandest thou what thou readest? Now the question is asked of you and me when we read the Bible, Understandest what thou readest? The Ethiopians was a man of great authority but he still humbled himself to hear and confessed in: Act 8:31And he said, How can I, except some man guide me?The reason we cannot receive anything spiritual when reading the Bible is because we refused to be humbled and out of pride exalt our own wisdom or thoughts on the scriptures. Matthew 23:12And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be abased; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted. Let us examine the word guide. John 16:13Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will quide you into all truth:for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. Philip in Act 8:30 represents the Spirit of truth: a true guide into hidden wisdom from above. Because the Ethiopian knew he couldn't hear spiritually, he could be taught by the Spirit. Millions of so called Churchgoers today cannot hear spiritually because of pride, never learning anything from the Spirit of Truthbecause they think they already know. 2 Timothy 3:7Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. To be humbled is to allow God's word to judge our thinking and we refuse to believe a book can do that. People minds in these Churches have been deceived and they refuse to be humble. Jeremiah 9:6Thine habitation is to the midst of deceit; through deceit they refuse to know me, saith the Lord. Psalm 10:17 Lord, thou hast heard the desire of the humble: thou wilt prepare their heart, thou wilt cause thine ear to hear.But these modern-day Synagogue of Satan exalts your flesh by telling you that you are an awesome spiritual being with infinite potential: just because you repeated after some man. So after a while of attending these Churches, by now you can quote a few dozen scriptures but with no spiritual understanding of those scriptures. So now we are now a king’s kid or prince: puffed up in our carnal fleshly minds Colossians 2:18 Vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind. Let us ask God to reveal something about a King's Kid or prince. 1 kings 1:5 The Adonijah the son of Haggith exalted himself saying, I will be king.1 king 1:6And his father [King David] had not displeased him at any time in saying, Why hast thou done so? Here King David represents the Spirit of truth. Did King David ever try to correct Adonijah? No! Adonijah was without chastisement. Hebrews 12: 8But if ye without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are ye bastards, and not sons. Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the fathers of spirits, and live? The fathers of our flesh is not talking about physical fathers but our earthly thoughts we spiritually created and gave those thoughts reverence. We have all reverence the our flesh correction over God's correction; our correction made us or Satan look holy. Matthew 12:26 And if Satan cast out Satan? Hebrews 12:10For they verily for a few day chastened us after their own pleasure; us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit that we might be partakers of his holiness. Jesus took chastisement for us who do we think we are not too? Devils! Isaiah 53:5But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed. In John 16:13we read there is a Spirit of Truth, then there must be a spirit of error when we refuse chastisement. 1 John 4:6 We are of God: he that knoweth God heareth us; he that is not of God heareth not us. Hereby know we the Spirit of truth, and the spirit of error.The Ethiopia knew he needed a spiritual guide not the blind guide pastors of today; who claim they see spiritually and see only sin or their own thoughts on the Bible.Proverbs 24: 9 The thought of foolishness is sin. Matthew 15:14Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch. Some years ago there was a very powerful man in Hollywood, this man by today's standards lived like a King. He was feared and respected by many: a prince among men. He sang before the rich and powerful and his nights on the town of carousing with his friends or rats would become legendary. But he did things his way rather right or wrong he did things his way or my way. We have all did things our own fleshly carnal and loved it. When we read God's word without the Spirit of Truth interpretation we are spiritually eating our way which is Damnation.1 Corinthians 11:29For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself. This isn't taking about physical eating but spiritually eating. But carnally mind man can only see his way and his way is death. Proverbs 14:12There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. The Ethiopians humbled himself to hear will you? Jeremiah 44:10They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared , nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
